Risk Management Program (RMP) – 40 CFR 68.54
Employers that are required to have a Risk Management Program for the storage and use of anhydrous ammonia must train employees in operating procedures at the facility where they will work and provide refresher training every three years thereafter.
Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) – 40 CFR 112.21
Employees working at SPCC plan-required oil handling facilities must be trained in proper operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent oil discharges. Training should be conducted prior to beginning duties and annually thereafter.
Worker Protection Standard (WPS) – 40 CFR
Agricultural employers must ensure that untrained workers receive basic pesticide safety information before entering a pesticide-treated area and must receive the complete WPS training within five days. Workers and handlers must receive training every five (5) years thereafter.
